Job summary

Michaels in Valdosta is seeking a Store Manager – VALDOSTA to lead and support inventory management and merchandising standards, keeping the store well merchandised and in stock for customers to shop.

You will help customers find what they’re looking for, deliver friendly service, serve as Manager on Duty (MOD), and support interviewing, onboarding and coaching of new team members while upholding SOPs and company programs.

Qualifications

• Retail merchandising and customer service experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead and support inventory management and merchandising standards and maintenance.
• Plan for and provide a well merchandised and in-stock store for the customer to shop.
• Help customers shop and find what they are looking for.
• Deliver friendly customer service.
• Assist Store Manager in SOPs and company programs adherence.
• Manage truck processes and lead teams to meet standards and KPIs.
• Execute and support planogram (POG) processes.
• Support AD set processes and shrink/safety programs.
• Act as Manager on Duty (MOD).
• Maintain seasonal sets and feature space to visual merchandising standards.
• Assist with interviewing, onboarding, coaching and training of new team members.
