Job summary

Michaels Stores is seeking a Merchandise Manager for the Columbus-Dublin area to drive merchandising execution and operational excellence in-store. The role emphasizes truck processing, inventory routines, planogram sets, and visual standards to ensure pricing accuracy and promotional timely execution.

You will oversee SOP compliance, staff leadership, and backroom organization, while managing in-store inventory, ad sets, and Ship from Store fulfillment.

Qualifications

• 3+ years retail leadership experience.
• Ability to adhere to SOPs and company standards.

Responsibilities

• Assist Store Manager in leading adherence to SOPs and company programs.
• Ensure execution of policies and standards, maintaining store conditions and results.
• Provide Manager-on-Duty coverage and maintain floor leadership and service standards.
• Lead truck execution, unloading, sorting, and flow of merchandise to sales floor.
• Own workload planning and daily task prioritization with store leadership.
• Execute Store-In-Stock Optimization routines to drive in-stock levels and replenishment.
• Oversee Planogram execution to complete merchandising sets on schedule.
• Establish and maintain visual merchandising standards and product placement.
• Support a clean, organized store environment including backroom and sales floor recovery.
• Manage inventory control, ensuring accuracy and efficient stock movement.
• Execute ad sets with compliant signage and product placement.
• Complete price changes accurately and on time across floor and systems.
• Oversee Ship from Store fulfillment processes and ensure accurate order handling.
• Process RTVs and ASN receiving with proper documentation and inventory adjustments.
• Manage store damages procedures and shrink reduction.
• Train and coach team members through onboarding and skill-building.
• Partner in maintaining Asset Protection practices.
