As a Store Merchandiser, you'll play a key role in executing product placement strategies across retail locations, enhancing shelf visibility, and maximizing display space for Smithfield and Private Label items. This fast-paced role involves working independently to stock merchandise, maintain Point-of-Sale materials, and follow route schedules while applying flavor schematics and safety practices. You'll collaborate cross functionally to support new product launches, drive sales growth, and deliver exceptional service that connects our products with consumers in meaningful ways.

WHAT YOU'LL DO:

• Retail & Merchandising Execution: Provide merchandising and retail support across all accounts by executing deli store sets, coordinating with warehouses for product placement, ensuring proper shelf presence of Smithfield and Private Label deli items to drive distribution, and maintaining all Point-of-Sales materials.

• Promotions & Advertising: Support promotional efforts and advertising campaigns by coordinating demos and training sessions that enhance product knowledge, merchandising effectiveness, and food safety awareness.

• Relationship Management: Develop relationships at store, wholesale, and manufacturing levels.

• Market Analysis & Strategy: Utilize market data (rankings, sales trends, etc.) to improve placement and retail support.

WHAT WE'RE SEEKING:

The expected pay range for this position is $40,000 - $60,000 annually.

Smithfield Foods provides pay ranges that reflect its good faith estimate of thesalary or hourly wagethe company reasonably expects to pay for a position at the time of hire. Individual compensation will be determined based on several factors, including but not limited to, the scope and responsibilities of the role, location of the position, the candidate's qualifications and experience, internal equity, external market pay for comparable positions and budget considerations. At Smithfield Foods, base pay represents only one aspect of the comprehensive total rewards package.
