Job Description:

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

The associate is responsible for the following functions, in addition to other duties as assigned:

• Follow established procedures for receiving, unloading shipments, pricing, and stocking to ensure quality, accuracy, and proper product rotation.
• Maintain a safe and clean environment, complying with safety and sanitation regulations.
• Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal weights, measures, and labeling laws.
• Greet customers and take their orders.
• Cut, tray, and package meat and seafood products as required.
• Use safety practices and proper equipment care, including mesh gloves when handling knives.
• Assist in inventory preparation, including back stock and tagging.
• Assist in other departments as needed.

SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES

This position currently has no supervisory responsibilities.

QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS

High School diploma or GED, plus 2 years' experience in retail or equivalent education and experience.

RATE OF PAY AND BENEFITS

The hourly pay starts at $15.00 and can go up to $22.00.
