Job description

Our client, a well-known contemporary brand, is seeking a Store Manager for their new Wilmington location.

Responsibilities:
  1. Set high standards for customer service and ensure the store maintains brand-aligned standards.
  2. Partner with the Store Manager to motivate the team, driving them to exceed sales goals and KPIs.
  3. Ensure the team is knowledgeable about products, brand history, and competitors to deliver a consistent message to clients.
  4. Identify areas for improvement in product, sales, and team performance, and propose solutions to the Store Manager.
  5. Guide staff to surpass individual sales targets and KPIs, prioritizing customer satisfaction.
  6. Elevate customer service to provide a seamless and personalized shopping experience.
  7. Assist in recruiting, onboarding, and training staff, fostering talent retention and growth.
  8. Manage opening and closing duties, uphold visual merchandising standards, and ensure stock handling and replenishment.
  9. Collaborate with the Store Manager on reporting, timekeeping, and inventory management for operational efficiency.
About You:
  1. High School Graduate or Equivalent required; college Degree preferred.
  2. Strong computer skills (MS Office) and experience with POS systems and analytics tools.
  3. Foreign language skills are a plus.
  4. Ideally, you have an established clientele following.
  5. Ability to relocate is preferred to maximize career development opportunities.
  6. Minimum 3-4 years’ experience in retail sales or related fields, with at least 2 years in a supervisory role.
