Store Manager

Your responsibilities include:

  • Recruiting, training, and developing your team and management staff
  • Managing all aspects of the retail business, including budgets, sales targets, customer experience, staff engagement, and operational excellence

Constant self-assessment and seeking growth opportunities are key to your leadership approach.

Responsibilities:
Sales & Customer Experience
  • Enhance customer service to exceed daily sales goals and create an inclusive, welcoming environment
  • Educate staff and customers on our brand values and initiatives such as fighting animal testing and ethical buying
  • Deepen product knowledge and provide informed recommendations
  • Develop and execute business plans aligned with our strategy to meet KPIs and sales goals
Team Leadership
  • Coach and develop your team, fostering a diverse, inclusive environment with active DEIB initiatives
  • Address performance concerns with empathy and create action plans for improvement
  • Recruit and support staff growth, ensuring equity and transparency in processes
Operational Excellence
  • Ensure compliance with policies and standards, including health and safety, anti-harassment, and workplace respect
  • Manage stock, inventory, and visual merchandising to optimize KPIs and store appearance
  • Oversee scheduling, attendance, and staff wellbeing within budget constraints
Qualifications:
Required:
  • 3-5 years retail management experience
  • Strong HR skills: hiring, scheduling, training, conflict resolution, performance management
  • Excellent communication, analytical, and organizational skills
  • Strong customer service and sales skills, with interest in skincare and ethical business
  • Flexible availability including holidays, evenings, and weekends
Preferred:
  • Experience with consultation-based service models
  • Proven track record in staff development and career growth
  • Proficiency in Excel, Microsoft Office, and adaptable to other systems
  • Experience in cross-cultural collaboration, DEIB, or social justice training
  • Fluency in additional languages such as Spanish or French
