Responsibilities include:
- Learning Walgreens’ operations and leading full store operations across front-end and pharmacy, completing the accelerated development track to Store Manager as outlined in the learning plan.
- Under the Store Manager's guidance, overseeing store operations and supporting the team throughout the learning journey.
Training & Personal Development
- Completing a rigorous, accelerated program with all necessary certifications for the Store Manager role.
- Participating in classroom, online, and on-the-job training, including rotations in other stores.
- Following development plans, engaging in professional growth activities, and demonstrating proficiency in learning topics.
Customer Experience
- Engaging customers, resolving complaints, and ensuring a positive experience.
- Coaching team members on customer service and analyzing feedback for improvements.
Operations
- Gaining experience in supervising store operations, merchandising, loss prevention, inventory management, and compliance.
Business Performance Management
- Learning to analyze store and pharmacy performance data, developing improvement plans, and identifying sales opportunities.
Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree with 3 years retail management experience, or High School Diploma/GED with 5 years retail management experience.
- Fluent in English (except in Puerto Rico).
- Willing to work flexible hours and accept assignments/transfers within Walgreens locations.
- PTCB Certification required; Bachelor’s Degree preferred.
