Job summary

Dollar Tree Stores in Hazel Crest, IL is seeking a Store Manager in Training to lead a team and deliver outstanding customer service. You will recruit and hire associates, train on operations and merchandising, and delegate daily store activities to ensure smooth performance.

As a hands-on leader, you will enforce company policies, ensure compliance with laws, protect assets, and maintain a safe, positive environment while driving sales and guest satisfaction.

Qualifications

• 3+ years retail management experience preferred.
• Experience with hardlines or variety merchandise; BIG BOX experience a plus is preferred
• Strong communication, interpersonal and written skills required.
• Ability to lift 30–50 lbs and perform physical tasks as needed.

Your Role at Dollar Tree:

Your Skills and Experience:

• Minimum 3 years prior retail management experience is preferred
• Experience with hardlines or variety merchandise; BIG BOX experience a plus is preferred
• Strong productivity management in freight processing is required
• Strong communication, interpersonal, and written skills are required
• Ability to work in a high-energy, team environment is required
• Must be able to lift up between 30 to 50 lbs. from floor to above shoulder height and meet demands of frequent walking, standing, stooping, kneeling, climbing, pushing, pulling, and repetitive lifting, with or without reasonable accommodation is required
