Monmouth Cards in the UConn area is seeking a Retail Store Manager to lead our high-volume, student-driven store. You will oversee daily operations, hire and train a part-time team, and drive in-store sales through product knowledge and exceptional customer service.

The role emphasizes merchandising, inventory control, peak-hour staffing, community engagement, and executing promotions and events to build a loyal customer base near the campus.

Formación

• Prior retail management experience required.
• Experience managing part-time or student employees is a plus.
• Strong leadership and communication skills.
• Ability to operate in a fast-paced, high-volume environment.
• Sales-driven mindset with focus on customer experience.
• Interest in trading cards or collectibles preferred.

Responsabilidades

• Lead daily store operations in a high-traffic environment.
• Hire, train, and manage a team of part-time associates (including students).

• Manage inventory across sealed product, single cards, and supplies.
• Maintain store organization, merchandising, and cleanliness.
