Job description

As a Store Manager, you will empower your team to achieve outstanding operational results while delivering excellent customer service. You will report to the Operations Manager and work on-site 100% of the time in Houston, TX.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Achieve sales and profit targets by managing expenses, working capital, inventory, shrinkage, and increasing net contribution.
2. Maintain high customer service standards and resolve customer issues efficiently.
3. Foster high employee engagement through training, mentoring, motivating, and resolving staff issues.
4. Understand the local market, operational selling, and customer base.
5. Ensure the store's exterior and interior, including merchandising displays, meet standards.

Qualifications:

1. High School diploma or equivalent with at least 1 year of retail experience.
2. Knowledge of paint and sundries is a plus.
3. Ability to work flexible shifts, minimum 45 hours/week, with a valid driver’s license.
4. Ability to lift up to 80 pounds occasionally and 40-60 pounds regularly.
5. Consent to background checks, drug screening, and motor vehicle record checks.
