Job Summary

Position Duties

Follow policies and procedures for Store Managers. Training all attendants on duties and procedures of operating the Store. Responsible for fair scheduling and controlling over-time of Store Attendants. Schedule for the Store Manager requires reporting one or more weekends per month and being On Call as needed. Responsible for collections process, ensuring accuracy in funds collected and reported. Meets cleaning standards for Store on a consistent basis. Accurate cash drawer handling. Maintain accurate inventory counts for Store OTC products. Responsible for procuring and stocking vending supplies. Fulfill all duties of Drop-off Laundry Service. Responsible for reporting, testing and properly tagging equipment out of order and correcting and reporting any safety concerns to Operations or Regional Manager. Responsible for reporting concerns and number of attendants needed to staffing agency. Directly supervises six (6) to ten (10) attendants. May be involved in interviewing and hiring new employee owners. Responsible for training, planning, and assigning tasks, addressing complaints, follow-up and resolving problems. Take ownership in our business results and your personal wellness. Performs other duties as assigned.

Qualifications
  • Essential education, licenses, certifications, skills and experience needed for this position: High school diploma or equivalent (GED).
  • One to three months of related experience or training in similar role or equivalent.

Work environment: The noise level in the work environment is usually loud. While performing the duties of this job the employee is regularly exposed to wet and humid conditions. The employee is frequently exposed to moving mechanical parts, outside weather conditions and extreme heat. The employee is occasionally exposed to fumes or airborne particles. Required to pass a background, physical, drug and alcohol screenings. Authorization to work in the United States.

General

The employee is expected to adhere to all company policies and commitment to company values. The Store Manager oversees and is responsible for all activities of Laundromat including but not limited to self-service laundry, drop-off laundry service and retail transactions within the OTC sector of the Store. Performs duties directly or through assignment of tasks to subordinates.
