GENERAL FUNCTION

At Target Optical, we aim to make our guests happy by making it simple and fun to see and look great. The Store Manager leads a team to deliver an exceptional guest experience while achieving all goals and commitments.

Major Duties And Responsibilities

1. Ensure Team Members deliver outstanding guest experiences by modeling and coaching the playground rules.
2. Set expectations for being Guest Ready and ensure store readiness.
3. Develop action plans for team member growth and hold them accountable.
4. Provide timely feedback and conduct performance reviews.
5. Create a culture of being Simple, Fun, and In-style.
6. Build professional relationships with the optical doctor and retail team to enhance business performance.
7. Recruit, schedule, and manage store staff, including payroll and personnel changes.
8. Manage inventory, store presentation, and marketing programs.
9. Ensure all sales transactions and strategies are properly executed.

Basic Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
• 5+ years in customer service and retail
• 3+ years management or supervisory experience
• Entrepreneurial spirit, results-driven, critical thinking
• Skills in recruiting, selling, motivating, and influencing others

Preferred Qualifications

• Opticianary License or American Board of Opticians Certification
