OBJECTIVE

The Store Manager is a true business owner for their store. They are responsible for leading, managing, and continuously developing all aspects of their store's business. They are accountable for creating and maintaining a positive and highly productive work environment that aligns with the company's mission. They will be responsible for consistently achieving sales & profitability goals, operational objectives, merchandising standards, and developing a highly successful Sales, Operations, and Visual team.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and execute the store’s retail strategies
  • Utilize local market knowledge of clientele base and brand competitors
  • Stay aware of business trends related to store success
  • Demonstrate strong business acumen through KPIs to support business strategies
  • Lead the team by leveraging company tools, incentives, and strategies to meet sales goals
People Leadership
  • Ensure the store team embodies Alo's mission and guiding principles
  • Develop an environment of growth, accountability, and inclusivity through development, performance management, training, and coaching
  • Conduct talent analysis and establish career progression plans to retain top talent
  • Establish internal and external pipelines through succession planning and recruitment
Operations Leadership
  • Oversee Sales & Service, Operations, and Visual Managers to ensure strategy execution
  • Support execution of operational and visual standards
  • Maintain visual standards based on business performance data
  • Support a safe work environment and efficient operations
  • Develop schedules that support business results and labor effectiveness
Flow Experience Leadership
  • Collaborate with cross-functional partners to support organizational goals
  • Create a culture that aligns with our mission as an Alo ambassador
  • Navigate the organization balancing business needs and brand culture
  • Implement effective communication strategies within the store
Qualifications
  • 5+ years of retail or related industry leadership experience
  • Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
  • Motivated by driving business in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong work ethic, time management, and accountability
  • Aligns with Alo’s Guiding Principles
  • Entrepreneurial mindset and business ownership attitude
  • Physical ability to move around the store, lift up to 50 pounds, and perform related tasks
Schedule & Compensation

Full-time employees should have open availability, including peak days and weekends. All employees must work during the Blackout period from Thanksgiving week through early January.

The base pay ranges from $75,000 to $90,000 annually, with potential additional earnings through monthly incentives. Benefits include clothing allowance, employee discount, 401K, health plans, and more.
