Summary

The Store Manager is an empowered leader who influences store performance, customer interactions, and team management. Using GameStop's models and techniques, the manager ensures excellent customer service, operational efficiency, and team development. The role supervises associates including an Assistant Store Manager, Senior Game Advisors, and Game Advisors, depending on store size and volume.

Essential Duties:

• Selling Passion: Actively sell, explore customer needs, and exceed goals while providing exceptional service.
• Solution Selling Focus: Create comprehensive customer solutions, recommend products, and foster loyalty.
• Team Support: Recruit, develop, and lead team members, provide performance feedback, and ensure store coverage and training.
• Operational Agility: Maintain store organization, manage inventory, ensure safety and cleanliness, and communicate effectively with the team and management.
• Military Stores (if applicable): Follow affirmative action initiatives and build partnerships on military bases.

Qualifications:

• Must be at least 18 years old with proof of age.
• High school diploma or GED; college degree preferred.
• 3+ years retail experience; 1+ year management preferred.
• Ability to work independently, lift up to 20 lbs., and travel occasionally.
