Business: 7-Eleven and Gas Station

Site: 2292 located in Silver Spring, MD

Salary: $60,000 to $71,000

Summary: We seek highly talented individuals with proven management and leadership experience in the Retail/Convenience sector. Experience managing high-volume businesses and excellent communication skills are essential. Preferably, candidates will have 7-Eleven experience. We value motivated, progressive, and dedicated individuals with a 'Do Whatever It Takes' attitude. Compensation ranges from a base salary of $70,000 to $80,000 depending on qualifications, plus a bonus plan akin to ownership. Benefits include health, 401K, and relocation options.

Job Description: The General Manager (GM) oversees the entire site operation, leading the management and associate teams to ensure adherence to PMG values, goals, and regulations. The GM aims to maximize profitability through team development, operational excellence, sales growth, and financial management, while ensuring customer and staff satisfaction. The GM also recruits, develops, and leads a high-performing team.

Responsibilities:

• Ensure a positive shopping experience for customers.
• Address customer and employee concerns effectively.
• Implement sales strategies and operational processes to maximize sales.
• Analyze financial reports to ensure store profitability.
• Supervise daily tasks and performance of staff and managers.
• Manage daily paperwork, cash, lottery, shrink, spoilage, and waste processes.
• Manage labor schedules and team staffing.
• Act with integrity, honesty, and respect.
• Build community relationships.
• Identify trends and develop action plans for challenges and opportunities.
• Monitor local competition and communicate findings to store operations.
• Ensure compliance with operational audits and standards.

Requirements:

• High school diploma or GED; Bachelor’s degree preferred.
• Leadership experience in building effective teams.
• Experience with staff hiring, training, and performance management.
• Availability for all shifts, including weekends and holidays.
• Reliable transportation.
• Strong leadership, customer service, and communication skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
• Ability to multi-task and organize effectively.
