Position Title: Store Manager

CHAGEE (pronounced CHAH-jee) is a modern tea house with over 6,500 locations globally.

What you will do:

  • Manage a fantastic team:
  • Ensure the team is able to deliver high-quality and excellent customer service.
  • Ensure the team is able to deliver consistent product quality.
  • Make sure all store level operation tools are used and followed to operational standards.
  • Train and manage the training progress of all new store employees.
  • Coach Shift Leads & Baristas by conducting On-Job-Training (OJT).
  • Plan store schedule, to assign team members to specific shifts and duties.
  • Monitor staff’s attendance and punctuality.
  • Manage all staff issues including staff discipline and performance reviews.
  • Supervise and ensure upselling/suggestive selling is practiced at all times and ensure each order is served to standard.
  • Handle customer feedback with sincerity and coach team members on creating solutions and remedies.
  • Responsible for store cash handling matters based on rules and regulations set forth by company.
  • Stores Sales Performance
  • Set, manage and report on sales performance goals.
  • Assist in marketing & promotional activities to attract top talent.
  • Inventory Management: Ensure store inventory is arranged and managed properly.
  • Forecast inventory usage and delivery.
  • Order necessary inventory when supplies are low.
  • Work and manage all vendor relationships.

Experience and Skills You Will Need:

  • Love tea!
  • 2+ year's of previous/recent people management experience in a F&B store environment
  • Previous Barista experience: 2+ years (preferred)
  • ServSafe Manager Training Required (Company can assist)
  • Have excellent communications and leadership skills
  • Be a fast learner and enjoy working in a fast-paced environment
  • Ability to work a flexible schedule with retail hours, including day, evening, weekends, and/or holidays
  • Ability to travel to other store locations or training facilities within a 30 mile radius
  • Work well as part of a team with strong work ethic
  • Be willing to learn other responsibilities and ad-hoc assignments
  • Be available to participate in company’s training when necessary
  • Ability to read and interpret instructional documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedural manuals

Essential Physical Requirements:

  • Position requires prolonged periods of standing/walking around store or department
  • May involve reaching, crouching, kneeling and stooping
  • Frequent use of computers and other technology, necessary to perform job functions, including handheld equipment, cash register and ability to process register transactions
  • Frequently lift/move up to 25lbs
