AKIRA is seeking an ambitious Store Manager to drive top-line sales, recruit and develop talent, and maintain an energetic, guest-focused store environment in Columbus. You will lead through ownership and accountability, mentor a high-performing team, and uphold AKIRA’s standards in merchandising and service.

Our Store Managers champion AKIRA's culture, manage daily operations, and execute the 5 Steps of Selling while ensuring a consistent, outstanding customer experience across our stores.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of experience in store management.
• A passion for fashion and a keen eye for trends.
• Proven leadership skills with the ability to inspire and guide a team.
• Exceptional communication and organizational abilities.
• High motivation coupled with a proactive sense of urgency.
• At least one year of experience in retail management.
• Expertise in supervising, motivating, and effectively directing employees.
• Comprehensive knowledge of visual merchandising and superior customer service practices.

Physical Requirements

• Move product, supplies, and/or boxes repetitively; ability to push, pull, and lift a maximum of 50 lbs. based on the needs of the role
• Ability to stand/walk for extended periods of time, including a 10-12 hour shift
