Job summary

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED preferred.
• Experience in retail sales preferred.
• Ability to supervise and train employees for use of equipment and store procedures.
• Ability to supervise and manage store functions.
• Ability to use computer for reports, inventory, cash control, etc.
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation to/from meetings.
• Ability to communicate in English.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Responsibilities

• Recruit, hire and train employees to deliver excellent customer service.
• Develop and assign tasks to keep the site clean, stocked, organized and well kept based on Company standards.
• Maintain professional image among staff and supervisors.
• Schedule employees to maximize customer service following company guidelines.
• Implement non-discriminatory management practices during hiring, training and motivation.
• Develop professional relationships with suppliers.
• Promote service and resolve customer complaints promptly and professionally.
• Promote a safe, positive public image within the community.
• Prepare on-going performance appraisals in writing for all employees.
• Train all employees on customer service, site image and marketing execution.
• Train all employees on safety procedures and promote safety awareness.
• Communicate timely with site employees and the Market Manager.
• Organize and maintain site files and manuals.
• Manage and supervise store employees to ensure reports are completed accurately and timely.
• Manage and supervise merchandise to be stocked, displayed and priced correctly.
• Ensure employment posters are posted in accessible locations.
