Job summary

National Vision operates Vista Optical locations on military exchanges throughout the United States. The Store Manager oversees daily operations, leads staff, manages inventory, and ensures superior customer service to military personnel and families.

You will drive profits, monitor budgets, hire and train associates, coordinate promotions with doctors, and report performance to the District Manager and corporate office. On-base locations offer growth opportunities and competitive benefits.

Job Description

What would you do? – The Specifics

• Achieve and maintain the highest level of customer service.
• Monitor and achieve profit, sales and performance goals (i.e. reviewing the P&L).
• Monitor sales results against budgeted.
• Ensure all store associates achieve and maintain the highest level of customer service.
• Investigate and compile competitive information.
• Provide daily and weekly statistics to District Manager and corporate office.
• Ensure store promotions, advertising, and visual merchandising are in place and all associates and doctors are aware of current promotions.
• Hire, supervise and train all store associates.
• Motivate associates to exceed performance standards.
• Interface and maintain appropriate professional relations with the doctor, other National Visionassociates, host store associates and customers.
• In some locations, state laws require certain responsibilities to be performed by individuals with specific licenses or credentials. Job duties and work practices may vary to meet these requirements.
