Responsibilities of the Store Manager include but are not limited to:

• Overseeing daily store operations
• Developing strategies to improve customer service, sales, and profitability
• Maintaining good relations with customers, donors, and the community
• Scheduling staff and conducting team meetings
• Supervising employee performance and conducting evaluations
• Hiring and training new staff
• Managing inventory and store cleanliness
• Ensuring cash handling and banking procedures are followed
• Participating in district and store meetings
• Implementing safety and loss prevention measures
• Performing additional duties as assigned

Qualifications:

• High School diploma/GED required
• Minimum 2 years retail management/supervisory experience required
• Experience with POS and cash transactions preferred
• Valid Driver's license and proof of insurance preferred
• Ability to communicate effectively

Physical Demands:

• Ability to sit, stand, walk, and perform physical tasks including lifting up to 50 lbs
• Repetitive motion tasks
• Perform duties with or without reasonable accommodations

Schedule:

Stores operate 7 days a week. Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays is required. The Salvation Army complies with all safety regulations, including vaccination requirements if applicable, and considers exemption requests on religious or medical grounds.
