Position OverviewThe Store Manager is a hands-on leader who leads by example—ready to jump on the register, pitch in behind the counter, or reset a station in the middle of a rush. You'll be on the floor alongside your team while also managing day-to-day operations and administrative responsibilities.
As the face of the deli, you’ll drive service excellence, lead the team, manage labor and scheduling, and ensure smooth, efficient, and high-quality operations.
Key ResponsibilitiesLead from the floor: Actively participate in daily service; no shift should be beneath or beyond you.
Hospitality champion: Deliver warm, efficient service and maintain the high hospitality standards that define Loveski.
Labor management: Create and manage schedules, control labor costs, and balance financial goals with team morale and service quality.
Administrative oversight: Complete daily admin tasks, including scanning invoices, placing orders, managing inventory, and updating prep and production guides.
Team development: Train, coach, and support staff to excel in every station and role.
Operational standards: Maintain high standards of health, safety, cleanliness, and food quality.
Cross-team collaboration: Work closely with culinary and commissary teams to ensure consistency and product integrity.
Facilities & vendor coordination: Handle minor maintenance issues and manage vendor relationships as needed.
Communication: Keep the Operations team informed of store needs, team dynamics, and opportunities for improvement.
2+ years of management experience in a fast-paced food service environment
Hands-on leadership style and willingness to work the register and assist on the floor
Strong knowledge of labor control, scheduling, and team development
Comfortable using admin systems for inventory, invoices, and internal communication
Highly organized, proactive, and calm under pressure
Positive attitude, strong leadership instincts, and a genuine love for hospitality
