GENERAL FUNCTION

The Store Manager is a leader within LensCrafters, responsible for delivering key performance indicators by integrating the Brand Story and ensuring a flawless customer experience.

Major Duties & Responsibilities
  • Provide exceptional customer service by ensuring staff performs sales and service processes effectively.
  • Demonstrate Diamond Service Principles and Service Vision with all customers.
  • Train and guide team members using company programs.
  • Analyze store financial data and recommend improvements for profitability.
  • Achieve targets such as NPS, sales to plan, customer count, profitability, training saturation, and KPIs including exam growth and retention.
  • Recruit and select high-caliber staff.
  • Forecast staffing needs using labor scheduling models.
  • Handle administrative duties including payroll, inventory, and technical applications.
  • Inspire associates to provide exceptional customer experiences to exceed expectations.
  • Lead Doctor of Optometry partnerships and co-planning.
  • Adhere to policies on inventory management and safety standards.
  • Conduct safety inspections and report regulatory contacts promptly.
  • Maximize optometric partnerships through participation in various activities.
  • Create a safe and enjoyable working environment.
  • Maintain store appearance and execute visual directives.
Basic Qualifications
  • High School diploma or equivalent
  • 4+ years management/supervisory experience
  • Knowledge of operations, processes, and business implications
  • Strong influencing, negotiation, and team-building skills
  • Knowledge of optical theory and merchandise
  • Excellent communication and listening skills
  • Basic math skills
  • Sales skills and familiarity with POS systems
  • Ability to manage time under deadlines
Preferred Qualifications
  • College degree or equivalent
  • State licensure or ABO Certification (if applicable)
  • LensCrafters Final Inspector Certification
  • Experience in customer service and retail
  • Knowledge of store merchandise and business acumen
