Job summary

Save-A-Lot, Ltd. is seeking a Store Manager to lead daily operations, drive sales, and create an engaging work environment for the store team. You will supervise staff, uphold safety/quality standards, manage budgets, and ensure outstanding customer service.

The role requires strong leadership, recruiting and developing staff, merchandising planning, KPI monitoring, and collaboration with district and regional teams to deliver best-in-class store performance.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 3–5 years of management experience.
• High School diploma or equivalent.
• Basic computer proficiency.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and tasks.
• Strong communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Provides leadership, coaching and development to the store team regarding tasks, duties, role requirements and performance standards.
• Creates a positive, safe, and clean store environment for team members and customers.
• Recruits talented, highly motivated team members with positive attitudes who can meet role requirements.
• Trains, develops, mentors, and coaches all team members to success within their roles today and in the future.
• Takes genuine interest in the growth and success of all team members through screening, feedback, teaching and mentoring.
• Communicates effectively with store team members, District Managers, Regional Directors and other field staff.
• Ensures store operates according to company standards to maximize sales, profits and customer experience.
• Maintains high standards of operation for produce, meat and center store departments.
• Upholds Food Safety, Health & Safety and Compliance policies as required.
• Manages inventory levels, shrink and freshness, ensuring quality.
• Responsible for policy compliance, cash handling, payroll administration and related admin tasks.
• Prepares and enforces vendor relations with DSD vendors.
• Participates in competitive market research.
