Job summary

Circle K is seeking a Store Manager to lead daily operations at our West Fargo, ND site. You will supervise staff, ensure excellent customer service, manage inventory, cash control and daily reporting to meet company standards.

The ideal candidate has retail experience, strong leadership and communication skills, and the ability to train and motivate a diverse team in a fast-paced environment. Full-time position with competitive pay and benefits.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED preferred.
• Experience in retail sales preferred.
• Ability to supervise and train for equipment/tools described in CSR/ASM roles.
• Ability to supervise and manage CSR/ASM functions.
• Proficient with computers, reports, inventory and cash control.
• Valid driver’s license and transportation to meetings.
• English communication skills (oral/written).
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Responsibilities

• Recruit, hire and train employees to deliver excellent customer service.
• Develop tasks to keep site clean, stocked, organized and up to company standards.
• Maintain professional image among staff and supervisors.
• Schedule employees to maximize service and site appearance.
• Apply non-discriminatory management practices in hiring and coaching.
• Build positive relationships with suppliers and resolve complaints promptly.
• Ensure safety and promote a positive community image.
• Deliver performance feedback in writing and on-time appraisals.
• Train staff on customer service, site image and marketing standards.
• Train on safety procedures and promote safety awareness.
• Communicate timely with all employees and hold regular meetings.
• Develop action plans to meet site objectives and organize files.
• Manage reports, merchandise display and pricing accuracy.
• Ensure required employment posters/signs are visible.
