Qualifications

• Must demonstrate excellent leadership and problem solving skills.
• Must have excellent communication and organizational skills.
• Must be able to work a flexible schedule including weekends, evenings, and holidays.
• Must have mathematical and general business skills to understand and interpret data.
• Must have knowledge of retail building materials and hardware products.
• Some previous retail experience is preferred.
• Must possess the ability to lift up to 100 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Perform all sales counter functions, point-of-sale (register) functions, and store administrative tasks.
• Lead by example in providing exceptional customer service and train the sales team.
• Maintain merchandising per local and corporate directives, plan-o-grams and promotional displays.
• Organize personnel and processes to ensure on-time, complete deliveries.
• Drive store sales and profit to exceed budgets and manage payroll.
• Maintain inventory accuracy and prevent shrinkage.
