You will mentor, coach and develop your team, oversee merchandising, staffing, scheduling, and customer service to deliver a world-class shopping experience.

The role requires strong leadership, communication, and collaboration with district and regional teams to drive results while maintaining store standards.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of Retail Management experience in a Big Box or Specialty environment.
• Must be able to work a flexible schedule, including early mornings, nights, weekends, and holidays.
• Ability to lift and move boxes weighing up to 40 lbs.
• Experience utilizing scheduling and reporting computer software
• Travel may be required from time to time.

Responsibilities

• Direct management of Assistant Managers, Supervisors, and Store Associates to implement policies and initiatives.
• Ensure team members fulfill their individual responsibilities.
• Coordinate merchandise placement, promotions and pricing with Merchandising.
• Review receiving, transfers, RTVs, and chargebacks to ensure inventory accuracy.
• Act as Manager on Duty; lead by example and model Burlington SOPs.
• Manage multi-million-dollar sales volume and expense budget with reporting.
• Recruitment, screening and hiring of associates to meet staffing needs.
• Onboarding and training, ongoing coaching, and structured learning for all staff.
• Handle personnel and associate relations issues.
• Payroll budgeting, workforce management and scheduling.
• Foster effective communication among store, district, and regional teams.
