Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Promote Family Farm and Home mission statement and family values.
• Assist store manager in promoting an aggressive sales culture with focus on superior customer service.
• Hire, coach, counsel, discipline and evaluate team members; plan and monitor results.
• Maintain professionalism and positive store morale.
• Assist in execution of store responsibilities through key associates or themselves.
• Schedule and assign employees to meet store needs; monitor work results.
• Provide feedback to buyers, district managers and company leaders.
• Assist in preparing annual budgets and monitor expenditures; analyze variances and take corrective actions.
• Build relationships with actual and potential customers to identify needs.
• Support local community groups in line with company values.
• Encourage sign-ups for loyalty programs, warranties, financing and promotions.
• Protect inventory and assets; maintain safety and security procedures.
• Ensure merchandise is received, stored and displayed per guidelines.
• Help shape marketing strategy with operating and financial insights.
• Support consistent operations through policy enforcement.
• All other duties as assigned by store manager or company.
