Job summary

Journeys Dover is seeking an energetic retail professional to recruit, train, and manage store personnel to hit sales goals while protecting company assets. You will lead a team in a fast-paced environment, delivering exceptional customer service and implementing company initiatives.

The role requires 1–2 years of retail experience, strong interpersonal skills, and a willingness to learn and grow within Journeys.

Qualifications

• 1–2 years retail sales experience.
• Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills.
• Desire to succeed in fast-paced retail environment.
• Willingness to learn.
• Completion of all training programs leading up to Manager in Training position or equivalent training.

Responsibilities

• Meet and exceed store and personal sales goals and standards of performance.
• Recruit, interview, and hire high-caliber employees with in-store needs.
• Train and develop a successful sales team.
• Provide feedback, coaching, and accountability to all employees by enforcing all company policies and practices.
• Ensure that all company initiatives are properly implemented and to the standard of the company direction.
• Conduct monthly performance reviews.
• Plan weekly staffing schedules in compliance with schedules policy.
• Provide a fun, full service experience to all customers.
• Resolve customer issues effectively.
