Job summary

Svdpnky in Norfolk, VA is seeking a Manager In Training who will follow a direct training plan to become General Manager. The MIT will work at one or more store locations under the Regional Manager and serve as General Manager in their absence.

You will focus on acquiring and maintaining customers, meeting sales goals, training staff, and ensuring a safe, clean environment. The program covers financial statements, merchandise availability, and merchandising programs to prepare you for store

Qualifications

Must be able to read, write and communicate effectively in person and over the phone with employees and customers.
Plan, organize, delegate, coordinate and follow up various tasks and assignments.
Decipher, prepare and review financial statements and store reports.

Responsibilities

Acquire and maintain customers by meeting sales and revenue goals and implementing marketing plans.
Train and develop associates; oversee store operations in the General Manager’s absence.
Follow monthly marketing plans and implement sales programs to drive store growth.
Maintain a safe, clean environment for customers and associates, including safe vehicle operations.
