Lead by example to deliver exceptional service and drive store performance. The role emphasizes recruiting, coaching, and delegating tasks, while ensuring compliance, safety, and strong customer service across the store.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of retail management experience preferred.
• Experience with hardlines or variety merchandise; BIG BOX experience a plus.
• Ability to lift 30–50 lbs and perform physical tasks.
• Strong communication, interpersonal and written skills.

Responsibilities

• Recruit and hire store associates to serve customers.
• Foster growth and development of associates through training on operations and merchandising; coach and correct when appropriate.
• Oversee and delegate all store activities to ensure smooth daily operations.
• Ensure full compliance with applicable laws and company policies.
• Perform opening and closing procedures as needed.
• Implement merchandising direction from corporate HQ.
• Help store reach maximum profit contribution.
• Protect company assets.
• Maintain high level of customer service across the store.
• Ensure a positive, safe and respectful environment with customers, associates and leaders.
