Job summary

Dollar Tree Stores seeks a Store Manager in Training in Beloit, WI to learn how to run a business unit through hands-on coaching and on-the-job training.

You'll recruit and develop associates, oversee daily operations, ensure merchandising standards, and drive store profitability while maintaining a safe, friendly, high-energy environment. This full-time role includes a quarterly bonus based on performance.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years retail management experience preferred.
• Experience with hardlines or variety merchandise; BIG BOX experience a plus preferred.
• Strong productivity management in freight processing is required.
• Strong communication, interpersonal, and written skills are required.
• Ability to work in a high-energy, team environment is required.
• Must be able to lift 30 to 50 lbs. from floor to above shoulder height and meet physical demands.

Responsibilities

• Recruit and hire store associates to serve customers.
• Foster development of associates through training on operations and merchandising.
• Oversee and delegate all store activities to ensure smooth daily operations.
• Ensure full compliance with laws/regulations and company policies.
• Perform opening/closing procedures as needed.
• Implement operational/merchandising direction from corporate HQ.
• Help store reach its maximum profit contribution.
• Protect company assets.
• Maintain high level of customer service across the store.
• Maintain a positive, safe, and respectful environment with customers and staff.
