Qualifications

• 3+ years of retail management experience.
• Experience with hardlines or variety merchandise; BIG BOX experience preferred.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to lift 30–50 lbs and perform physical tasks.
• Ability to work in a high-energy, team environment.

Responsibilities

• Recruit and hire store associates to serve our customers.
• Coach and develop associates through training on operations and merchandising.
• Oversee and delegate all store activities to ensure smooth daily operations.
• Ensure compliance with laws, regulations, policies and procedures.
• Perform opening and closing procedures as needed.
• Implement merchandising directions from corporate headquarters.
• Help the store reach its maximum profit contribution.
• Protect company assets and maintain a positive store atmosphere.
