Dollar Tree Stores, Inc. is seeking a Store Manager in Training to lead a busy Dollar Tree location in Baton Rouge. You will recruit and hire associates, train and coach staff, and oversee all daily operations to deliver excellent customer service.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years retail management experience preferred.
• Experience with hardlines or variety merchandise; BIG BOX experience a plus.
• Strong productivity management in freight processing is required.
• Strong communication, interpersonal, and written skills are required.
• Ability to work in a high-energy, team environment is required.
• Must be able to lift 30–50 lbs. from floor to shoulder height and perform frequent lifting with/without accommodations.

Responsibilities

• Recruit and hire store associates to serve customers.
• Foster growth and development of associates through training and coaching.
• Oversee and delegate all store activities to ensure smooth operations.
• Ensure compliance with laws and company policies.
• Perform opening and closing procedures as needed.
• Implement directions from corporate HQ.
