Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years retail management experience preferred.
• Experience with hardlines or variety merchandise; BIG BOX experience a plus preferred.
• Strong productivity management in freight processing is required.
• Strong communication, interpersonal, and written skills required.
• Ability to work in a high-energy, team environment required.
• Must be able to lift 30–50 lbs from floor to above shoulder height and perform frequent movement with or without accommodation.

Responsibilities

• Recruit and hire store associates to serve customers.
• Coach and develop associates through training on operations and merchandising.
• Oversee and delegate all store activities for smooth daily operations.
• Ensure compliance with laws and company policies.
• Perform opening and closing procedures as needed.
• Implement merchandising and operational directives from corporate.
• Help the store reach maximum profit contribution and protect assets.
• Maintain high level of customer service across the store.
