Job summary

Dollar Tree in Lebanon, PA is seeking a Store Manager in Training. You’ll participate in on-the-job training to learn profitable store operations, merchandising, placement, and signage, creating an inviting atmosphere for customers while upholding company standards.

You will recruit and coach associates, oversee daily store activities, ensure compliance, and strive for profit contribution while maintaining a safe, welcoming environment.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years prior retail management experience is preferred.
• Experience with hardlines or variety merchandise; BIG BOX experience a plus is preferred.
• Strong productivity management in freight processing is required.
• Strong communication, interpersonal, and written skills are required.
• Ability to work in a high-energy, team environment is required.
• Must be able to lift 30 to 50 lbs. from floor to above shoulder height and perform frequent movement.

Responsibilities

• Recruit and hire store associates to serve customers.
• Foster growth and development of associates through training on operations and merchandising.
• Oversee and delegate all store activities to ensure smooth daily operations.
• Ensure full compliance with laws and company policies and procedures.
• Perform opening and closing procedures as needed.
• Implement operational and merchandising direction from corporate HQ.
