Dollar Tree Stores, Inc. is seeking a Store Manager in Training to develop leadership skills and learn profitable store operations through on-the-job training. You will manage merchandising, signage, and display techniques to create an inviting shopping environment for customers.

You will recruit and coach associates, oversee daily operations, ensure legal and policy compliance, and help maximize store profitability while protecting assets and delivering outstanding service.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years retail management experience preferred.
• Experience with hardlines or variety merchandise; BIG BOX experience a plus.
• Strong productivity management in freight processing is required.
• Strong communication, interpersonal, and written skills are required.
• Ability to work in a high-energy, team environment is required.
• Must be able to lift 30–50 lbs and handle frequent movement tasks.

Responsibilities

• Recruit and hire store associates to serve customers.
• Foster growth and development of associates through training on operations and merchandising.
• Oversee and delegate all store activities to ensure smooth daily operations.
• Ensure full compliance with applicable laws and company policies.
• Perform opening and closing procedures as needed.
• Implement directions from corporate headquarters for operations and merchandising.
• Help the store reach its maximum profit contribution.
• Protect company assets.
• Maintain high level of customer service across the store.
• Maintain a positive, safe, and respectful environment with customers, associates, and leaders.
