Job Summary:

The Salon Director in Training is responsible for driving store performance, ensuring excellent client service, and maintaining operational standards to meet or exceed goals. This role involves managing and supervising Tanning Consultants, leading by example, and fostering a sense of urgency to achieve objectives while holding the team accountable for delivering an exceptional client experience.

Tasks & Responsibilities:

• Manage daily salon operations in a fast-paced environment
• Lead by example in client service and sales
• Maintain a professional, clean salon environment
• Set clear goals for team members and provide coaching and feedback
• Generate sales reports, manage inventory, and support other managerial tasks
• Assist in controlling revenue and expenses
• Ensure proper staffing levels for productivity and service quality while managing labor costs
• Work nights and weekends as required
• Work approximately 35-45 hours weekly, depending on employment status

Experience & Skills:

• Management and/or sales experience required
• Beauty Industry and/or Customer Service experience preferred
• Proficiency in Word, Excel, Outlook
• Ability to manage multiple situations in a fast-paced environment
• Strong leadership, coaching, and mentoring skills
• Team building and organizational skills
• Ability to prioritize and delegate tasks

Physical Requirements:

• Ability to stand and walk for long periods
• Ability to bend, lift, and perform cleaning functions
