Job summary

Walgreens is offering an accelerated Store Manager training track designed to develop leaders who can oversee front-end and pharmacy operations. Trainees will learn Walgreens’ SOPs and operational standards under the Store Manager’s guidance.

The program includes classroom, online, and on-the-job training with rotations across area stores, and aims to achieve Store Manager readiness with ongoing feedback from district leadership.

Qualifications

• Fluent English reading, writing and speaking required.
• Bachelor’s degree preferred; alternative is HS Diploma with additional retail management experience.

Responsibilities

• Learn Walgreens’ operations and lead one-box front-end and pharmacy execution.
• Shadow Store Manager to oversee store operations and gain supervisory experience.
• Assist in opening/closing shifts and supervising merchandising tasks and promotions.
• Analyze store and pharmacy performance data to identify improvement opportunities.
• Participate in trainings, rotations, and development plans for Store Manager readiness.
