Compensation Pay Range: $11.13 - $20.00

The actual hourly rate will equal or exceed the required minimum wage applicable to the job location. Additional compensation includes annual, quarterly performance, or premiums which may be paid in amounts ranging per hour in specific circumstances. Premiums may be based on schedule, facility, season, or specific work performed. Multiple premiums may apply if applicable criteria are met.

Objective: Assist store manager in areas of sales, appearance, and overall operations of the store. The goal is to receive hands-on training to prepare for a management position in another store or future location.

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS
  • Supervise the professional and retail operations of the store and team members involved, including delivery and installer service specialists, and parts and merchandising specialists.
  • Responsible for supervising all team members assigned to the store/HUB store, working jointly with the district manager and store manager in recruiting, testing, hiring, evaluating, promoting, disciplining, and discharging team members.
  • Communicate all information from team weekly and monthly store manager meetings to all team members.
  • Train new team members, handle performance evaluations, and recommend pay increases.
  • Assist in the hiring process, including recruiting, interviewing, evaluating candidates, and collaborating with management.
  • Support store manager in ensuring safety compliance and training, monitoring safety expectations.
  • Make sales calls with or without the store manager, possibly on a weekly schedule.
  • Support store operations as assigned.
  • Maintain delivery fleet records and ensure the store is neat, clean, and organized at all times.
  • Learn to utilize electronic scheduling, clocking, payroll systems, and manage key components of gross profit, including monitoring customer returns, price matches, and individual productivity.
Skills/Education/Knowledge/Experience/Abilities
Required:
  • High School Diploma
  • Excellent interpersonal and leadership skills
  • Must complete Assistant Manager Certification, Sales Specialist Training, and Manager Development Program
  • Ability to quickly and accurately match numerical and alpha characters
  • Knowledge of automotive parts, equipment, and systems
Desired:
  • O’Reilly store and/or distribution center experience
  • Completed management training program
  • Advanced computer skills
  • ASE Certification
  • Fluency in multiple languages, especially Spanish
