The Store Manager In Training (SMIT) program is a development-focused role designed to prepare you for a CVS Store Manager position. It offers a self-paced, collaborative training over 16 weeks with virtual and hands-on learning experiences, supported by leaders including your District Leader, HR Business Partner, Training Store Manager, and Store Manager coach.

• Customer care duties to ensure high service levels.
• Executing merchandising strategies to support sales growth.
• Managing store inventory and assets to maintain profitability.

Expectations for SMITs

• Engage actively with leadership during Key Learning Experiences.
• Support store operations and lead in alignment with CVS values and policies.
• Inspire colleagues to support the company's purpose of helping people on their path to better health.
• Be open to promotion within the market.

Promotion to Store Manager depends on performance, openings, and other factors. Candidates should be willing to accept a Store Manager role at any location within the designated market, transfer as needed, and work flexible hours.

Minimum Requirements

• High School diploma or GED.
• Bachelor's Degree preferred or relevant work experience considered in lieu.
• Retail management experience or CVS supervisory experience is advantageous.

Additional Details

• Weekly hours: 45
• Full-time employment
• Pay Range: $18.50 - $28.67 per hour, depending on experience and location
