Compensation Range: $65,000-85,000/year based on experience. Additional performance-based incentives are also available.

Position: Store Manager in Training

We are seeking a motivated and customer-focused individual to join our team as a Store Manager in Training! This role offers an exciting opportunity to develop retail skills and advance your career in a dynamic environment. Candidates will participate in Monro's 5-week Store Manager Training and Onboarding Program, which will help you to:

  • Oversee daily operations and ensure excellent customer service
  • Implement company policies, procedures, and best practices
  • Lead and motivate store team members, including training, scheduling, and driving productivity
  • Assist with inventory management, including control, ordering, receiving, and loss prevention
  • Support meeting sales targets and implementing promotional strategies
  • Maintain store cleanliness, organization, and safety standards
  • Handle customer inquiries, complaints, and concerns professionally and efficiently
  • Support cash management and accurate financial reporting
  • Participate in ongoing training to enhance management skills
  • Foster a collaborative, high-performing team culture
  • Leverage data to implement strategies that boost sales and improve guest experience
  • Ensure operational excellence and adherence to company standards

Qualifications:

  • 1-2 years of retail or related industry experience; supervisory or management experience preferred
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; bachelor's degree in business or related field preferred
  • Strong customer service skills with a focus on positive shopping experiences
  • Proficiency in sales techniques and meeting sales goals
  • Experience with inventory management and loss prevention
  • Excellent cash handling skills and familiarity with POS systems
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
  • Strong leadership and team-building abilities
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills
  • Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays
  • Physical ability to stand for long periods and lift up to 25 pounds
