The Store Manager In Training (SMIT) program is designed to prepare you for a CVS Store Manager position through a 16-week, self-paced, collaborative training that includes virtual and hands-on learning experiences. Support for your growth includes guidance from your District Leader, Human Resources Business Partner, Training Store Manager, and Store Manager coach.

Responsibilities and Skills

• Communicate effectively verbally and in writing to support and lead your team.
• Provide high levels of customer service.
• Execute merchandising strategies to support store sales growth.
• Manage store inventory and assets to maintain profitability.
• Actively engage with leadership during Key Learning Experiences.
• Support your store as a management team member and lead in alignment with CVS values and policies.
• Engage colleagues in supporting the company's purpose of helping people on their path to better health.
• Willingness to accept a promotion to Store Manager at any location within the designated market and to transfer between CVS stores.
• Work a schedule that varies with business needs.

Minimum Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED (required).
• Bachelor's Degree (preferred) or relevant work experience in retail management or as a CVS Supervisor.

Additional Details

• Anticipated weekly hours: 45
• Full-time position
• Pay range: $18.50 - $26.25 per hour, depending on experience and location.
