What You’ll do

The Store Manager in Training will develop knowledge of store operations, customer service, and merchandising under supervision. This role requires leadership skills to motivate and supervise staff, establish sales strategies, ensure safety and store appearance, and provide excellent customer service. The training period is approximately 6 months, with potential relocation within the Pennsylvania/Northern Virginia/Maryland market for promotion to Store Manager.

Essential Qualities for Success

  • Minimum 2 years retail management experience
  • Outgoing, self-motivated, team-oriented
  • Proficient in Excel and Word
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, adaptable and resourceful
  • Capable of multitasking, analyzing, and decision-making
  • Independent work capability
  • Flexible hours, including 50-hour workweeks, evenings, weekends
  • Meet federal and local requirements for FFL
  • Ability to use store technology and participate in remote onboarding and training

Physical Requirements

  • Lift, push, pull at least 30 pounds repeatedly; 31-50 pounds intermittently
  • Stand and walk for extended periods
  • Use ladders and pallet jacks
  • Communicate effectively
  • Good visual acuity, including close vision for computer work
  • Repetitive wrist movements
  • Navigate stairs multiple times daily
