The Store Manager In Training (SMIT) program is designed to develop future store leaders through a self-paced, collaborative training over 16 weeks, including virtual and hands-on experiences. Support and mentorship are provided by your District Leader, HR Business Partner, Training Store Manager, and Store Manager coach.

Key Skills and Responsibilities

• Communicate effectively verbally and in writing to support and lead your team.
• Provide excellent customer care to support high service levels.
• Implement merchandising strategies to support store sales growth.
• Manage store inventory and assets to maintain profitability.

SMITs are expected to:

• Engage actively with leadership during the program to support career progression.
• Support store operations as a management team member, aligned with CVS values and policies.
• Engage colleagues in the company's purpose of helping people on their path to better health.
• Be willing to accept promotion roles within the market.

Note: Promotion to Store Manager depends on performance, availability, and other factors.

Minimum Requirements

• Willingness to accept promotion at any location within the market.
• Ability to transfer to other CVS stores within the market.
• Flexible schedule based on business needs.
• High School diploma or GED (required).
• Bachelor's Degree (preferred) or relevant work experience.

• Weekly hours: 45
• Employment type: Full-time
• Pay Range: $18.50 - $23.88 per hour
