You do this by challenging yourself and leading your store team to meet and exceed Talent, Culture, and Operational responsibilities of your role. You are a people leader, taking pride in your leadership and ability to motivate a team to achieve sales targets and growth goals. Through personal demonstration, training, and development, you create an in-store culture where customers say, “I’ll take it” and are loyal to your store, our brands, and our company. You are enthusiastic about the product and presentation of your store, staying up to date on trends, and educate your team to do the same. Most importantly, you LOVE shoes, and regardless of your style, you help every person who enters your store experience a little bit of that Famous Feeling.

What You’ll Be Doing

  1. Inspire The Customer Connection: You’ll inspire the team with integrity and drive, fostering a culture centered on customer relationships, operational excellence, and flawless delivery of both. You’ll dedicate time to develop internal talent by assessing associates’ strengths and opportunities, motivating new levels of greatness by modeling the selling behaviors and infusing coaching moments to power our Customer Connection.
  2. Lead Talent Discovery: You’ll be enthusiastic and proactive about seeking out and networking with exceptional external talent, knowing that each hire has the potential to elevate the store’s sales growth. You’ll invest time, effort, and resources in developing strong succession plans for leadership roles within the store. When interviewing, you’ll hire individuals passionate about creating top-notch customer experiences driven by attentiveness to service and determination to sell.
  3. Own Retail Operations: You’re an expert in day-to-day store operations (from pricing to shipment processing to inventory and everything in between) and put in the work so the store runs smoothly. You’ll leverage our store standards, keeping styles easily shoppable. As the strategic mind behind staffing decisions, you’ll balance associate availability, peak times, and seasonal demands to ensure excellent service.
  4. Leverage Insights to Deliver Results: You’ll bring your best self daily and take ownership of your goals, using insights from business analysis to refine strategies and improve results. Recognize the importance of every shoe sale and use your understanding of resources and partnerships to align operational efforts for success.
  5. Be the Architect of a Winning Culture: You’ll foster a work environment where diversity and inclusivity are valued, ensuring each associate feels included and respected. Maintain a positive mindset, especially when facing challenges, and promote team engagement in innovative ways to increase retention and performance.

Perks You’ll Enjoy!

  • Monthly Performance Bonus. Get rewarded for meeting goals monthly!
  • Career Development and Learning Opportunities. Education assistance up to $7500/year and growth opportunities at our corporate offices.
