Job summary

Circle K in Wisconsin is seeking a Store Manager for the Town of St. Croix Falls to lead daily operations and supervise staff while ensuring excellent customer service and compliance with company standards.

You will manage staffing, training, inventory control, cash handling, scheduling, and reporting, with a focus on safety and community image. A high school diploma is preferred and a valid driver’s license is required.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED preferred.
• Retail sales experience preferred.
• Ability to supervise and train staff to use equipment and follow company standards.
• Ability to supervise and manage store functions and reports.
• Proficient with computer use for reports, inventory, and cash control.
• A valid driver’s license and transportation to meetings.
• Fluent in English, both spoken and written.
• Willing to perform other duties as assigned.

Responsibilities

• Recruit, hire and train employees to deliver excellent customer service.
• Plan tasks to keep the site clean, stocked, organized and compliant with standards.
• Maintain a professional image among staff and supervisors.
• Schedule employees within company guidelines to optimize service.
• Apply fair management practices during hiring, training and counseling.
• Develop positive relationships with suppliers and resolve customer issues promptly.
• Ensure a safe public image in the local community.
• Prepare performance appraisals and provide feedback to staff.
• Train employees on safety procedures and company standards.
• Ensure timely and accurate reporting and records management.
• Oversee budgeting, P&L awareness, and merchandise margins.
• Perform other financial analyses to maximize sales and profits.
• Maintain indoor work with occasional outdoor tasks and adherence to safety.
