Job summary

Jockey Store in Manchester, VT seeks a dynamic Store Manager to lead daily operations, drive sales, and ensure excellent customer service. You will manage staffing, coaching, and performance while upholding company standards and budget targets.

Qualifications

• High School degree or equivalent.
• 3-5 years of proven retail leadership experience.
• Strong selling experience with the proven ability to meet or exceed performance standards.
• Strong communication (verbal and written) and interpersonal skills.
• Proven experience in attracting, developing and retaining strong talent.
• Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
• Flexibility with the ability to work opening/closing shifts, weekends, holidays, and overtime.
• Strong working knowledge of POS systems.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrate leadership reflecting Jockey's core values and culture.
• Oversee daily operations including scheduling, budgeting, and sales performance.
• Ensure adherence to all standards including Visuals, inventory control, security, HR, expenses and procedures.
• Lead, coach and mentor selling standards and accountability.
• Implement and manage marketing, sales, service and financial strategies.
• Communicate and review KPIs with team members to identify opportunities.
• Recruit to fill open positions with qualified candidates.
• Train and develop associates; maintain staffing levels.
• Lead store team through coaching and performance management; develop staff for expanded roles.
• Establish relationships with mall management and participate in mall events.
• Perform store operations including opening/closing, transactions, maintenance and inventory.
• Protect store assets including cash and inventory.
• Other duties as assigned.
