Qualifications

• Retail experience preferred in footwear and athletic apparel.
• Experience managing and developing a sales team.
• 3–5 years of customer service experience; 3+ years in management.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Analytical thinker with business acumen.

Responsibilities

• Drive store sales and meet sales goals while focusing on company growth.
• Direct and oversee all sales efforts in the store and train staff.
• Maintain store assets, inventory, and expenses to ensure profitability.
• Collaborate with the District Sales Manager to enforce policies and goals.
• Supervise staff to ensure department responsibilities are completed.
• Mentor Sales Associates, Assistants, and Managers in Training.
• Oversee recruiting, hiring, training, discipline, and evaluation; manage payroll and scheduling.
• Maintain store security and partner with Asset Protection to reduce shrink.
• Communicate inventory movements and drive inventory goals and strategies.
• Implement marketing and advertising plans and monitor customer trends.
