Store Manager – (Full-Time)
Location: Madison, AL
Pay: $18–$22/hr (depending on experience) + Monthly Bonus Potential

We are hiring a reliable and hands-on Store Manager to oversee daily operations. This is a key leadership position responsible for managing our retail team, coordinating deliveries, ensuring smooth vendor operations, and maintaining an organized and customer-ready showroom. Our store sells furniture, flooring, and mattresses—with plans to grow.
Key Responsibilities:
Operations & Supervision:
- Open and close the store daily and manage showroom condition.
- Supervise and support the sales team and delivery crew.
- Ensure all products on the floor are accurately tagged and priced.
- Assign and monitor daily cleaning and maintenance tasks (showroom, bathrooms, etc.)
Vendor & Inventory Coordination:
- Place and track furniture and flooring orders with vendors.
- Maintain records of delivery schedules and lead times.
- Organize and manage incoming inventory and warehouse flow.
Customer Service & Issue Resolution:
- Handle customer escalations, warranty claims, and delivery issues.
- Respond to messages or follow-ups from online leads (Facebook, Text, etc.).
- Ensure claim forms and issue logs are completed and followed up on.
Delivery & Installation Scheduling:
- Coordinate all furniture deliveries with the in-house crew.
- Schedule flooring measurements or installations (initially handled externally).
- Ensure delivery dockets are complete and filed properly.
Reporting & Team Leadership:
- Track store KPIs including sales performance, open orders, and pending deliveries.
- Conduct regular one-on-one or team check-ins.
- Train new hires on store processes and customer service standards.
Requirements:
- Experience in retail, store management, or operations (furniture or flooring a plus).
- Strong organization and communication skills.
- Comfort with using POS systems, task tracking, and simple spreadsheets.
- Fluent in English (Spanish is a plus).
- Leadership mindset with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
