Management of new Cookie Creamery in University City representing 3 iconic Philadelphia Brands

Employment Opportunity: Full time

Location: 40004 Spruce St

Duties: Responsible for day-to-day operations of the shop including but not limited to:

  • Providing guidance and accountability to the management and ownership team.
  • Hiring, Training, Coaching, Retaining, Terminating
  • Payroll and time clock management and keeping stores sales, profits, and labor in line with company standards
  • Making sure that the store is clean, open on time, and ready to provide above average service.
  • Compliance with health and food safety standards.
  • Staff scheduling through time clock application
  • Managing inventory and ordering of supplies. Levels should be maintained and not exceeded.
  • High level of ability to multitask in a fast-paced service environment. Focus must be on team'sproduct knowledge and being able to efficiently discuss offerings with guests.
  • Familiarity with all equipment, processes, and products at location.
  • Ensuring that equipment is functioning properly.
  • Attending weekly store meetings.
  • Working alongside the retail team to establish rapport and understanding of the operation.
  • Possible advancement and growth opportunities in expansion plan.
  • Free product sampling on shift.
  • Identify opportunities for sales growth and community collaboration and partnership.

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree preferred.
  • Prior retail store management required (2+ years of experience in a food retail management or employment preferred).
  • Sales Proficiency
  • Customer Service proficiency.
  • Food Management and Safety knowledge.
  • Basic understanding of computer and app-based programs (Excel, Outlook, Various supplier and Equipment monitoring apps, Delivery apps and POS systems)
  • Problem Solving with staff, customers, and facility
  • Compensation commiserates with retail management experience.
